Biography

Gordon was born in 1825, in Montgomery County, Virginia. He was the son of William Bell and Nancy Vineyard.

On 22 Mar 1848, in Moniteau, Missouri, he married Martha Ann Son. They settled in Missouri and had 7 known children.

Martha passed away in 1883 in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. She was buried at the Savanna Cemetery.

After Martha died, Gordon married again to Hannah Krieger. He died 5 weeks after that marriage at Savanna, Tobucksy, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. He is buried at the Savanna Cemetery.
