Murray, son of Elijah Foster Benedict and Ella M. Engalls, was born on 16 Jul 1882 in Kansas.^[1]

On 16 May 1905, Murray married Martha E. Ely in Marshall, Kansas.^[2][3]

Murray passed away on 16 Jull 1882 in San Leandro, Alameda County, California^[4], and was buried at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, Los Angeles County, California.^[5]
