Biography
Karl Johan Bengtsson was born on 13 October 1871, in Boda, Värmland, Sweden. He was the son of Bengt Nilsson and Mary Andersdotter.[1]
In the 1882 census Karl was the son of Bengt. Nilsson in Högboda Aldråga, Boda, Värmland, Sweden.[2]

Karl Johan Bengtsson died of pneumonia on 12 January 1906, in Jordan Valley, Malheur, Oregon, United States, at the age of 35. He was buried in the Jordan Valley Cemetery in Jordan Valley, Malheur County, Oregon.[5]
