Harold died in 1910; the 40-year-old widow married 47-year-old widower John Henry Harebottle, now farming Stanley Farm, in the Adelaide District, in Adelaide's Union Church on 21 February 1916.[2]

Winifred passed away at the age of 59 in 1935 in her residence on Stanley Farm near Adelaide.[3]
