Sarah Matilda Bennett was born on 9 Sep 1848 in Fayetteville, Georgia to parents Cammelius Bennett and Emily Chappelle Strickland. She married Rufus T Dorsey in 1870 in Georgia. Children: Hugh Mason, Rufus Thomas, Mary Faith, Judie, Cam, Roy, Sarah Emily. She died on 25 Dec 1925 in Atlanta, Georgia.
