His inventory was completed on 9 March 1707/08 in Fairfield. There were 8 children (not named), 1 son 13 years old, 1 son 5 years old, 1 son 4 years old, 1 son 10 weeks old, 1 daughter 16 years old, 1 daughter 10 years old, 1 daughter 7 years old, and 1 daughter 2 years old.[1]
In 1713, a piece of land given to James by his father had been discovered by deed, and ordered to be distributed to the widow and children.[2]
