Biography

Susannah Maria (aka Susanna Marie) was the daughter of Richard Bennett Jr.^[1][[1]]

Susanna married John Darnall (abt.1630-abt.1684) Esq. (?-1684).^[1]

At least one daughter was born to this union, Henrietta Darnall (referenced in John Darnall (abt.1630-abt.1684) Will proved 18 Feb 1685)^[1]

In the Will of John Darnall (abt.1630-abt.1684), late of Calvert Co., proved Feb 18, 1685, (Book 4, Lib G fol. 55, H.R. Annap) "to wife, Mrs. Susan Darnall, 2 tracts, adjoining, in Sassafras River; to brother, Col Henry Darnall ..., to daughter, Henrietta Darnall and wife residue of lands, goods etc. 1/2 to daughter when she shall come of age or marry; wife's half to go to my nephew Harry Darnall, son of Col Henry Darnall"^[1]; (See particularly pgs 528-529)

After John Darnall's death in 1684, she married Col. Henry Lowe, nephew of Lady Baltimore.^[1] See pg 528-529 ^[2]

SPOUSE: I had Susanna Maria Bennett (1630-1714) married to John Darnall (b 1630 County Durham, Durham, England - 18 Feb 1684 Charles County, British Colony of Maryland as well. The work I did on the Calvert/Darnall connections was so long ago that I am not up to discussing how I came to some of the information. Do you have proof of her marriage? I am fairly sure that my information came from Mocavo before they took a nose dive the year before selling out. Things should be in the shoebox where I saved things but I never bought into the next owner's program and haven't seen my Mocavo work since. I know that I got a lot of "history" moving down the tree from the Calverts and expect that is where we will make more connections in the universal tree.
