Charlotte Benoit is a descendant of an Acadian

Therese Charlotte, daughter of Paul Benoit and [[Cassegrain-1|Élisabeth Lacoste dite Languedoc], was born 15 Oct 1782 and baptized the same day in the parish of Saint-Mathias, Bas-Canada. Her godparents were Joseph Dumoulin and Genevieve Felix. [1]

Charles Truteau about 28 years, adult son of Louis Truteau and Josephte Favreau, and Charlotte Benoit about 18 years, adult daughter of Paul Benoit and Elisabeth Chomée, were married 19 Jan 1801 in the parish of Saint-Mathias, Bas-Canada. [2]

Charlotte Benoit, wife of Charles Trudeau and with a given age of fifty years, died 11 Aug 1831 and was buried 13 Aug 1831 in the cemetery of Saint-Mathias, Bas-Canada. [3]
