François Benoist et Dimanche Chappelain sont nommés au contrat et au mariage de leur fils Paul en septembre 1658, François est cité défunt au contrat^[1], Dimanche est citée défunte sur l'acte de mariage.^[2]

Paul est né vers 1623 à Châtillon-en-Bazois, évêché de Nevers, en Nivernais (aujourd'hui dans le département de la Nièvre) ^[3]

They appear to be a conflation, time-machined into prior century, actual people being married in Saint-Laurent de Montréal in 1729, see Jacques (Benoit) Benoît dit Laguerre (abt.1692-1749)
