Biography

Experience Bent was the son of John Bent and Bethiah Morse. He was born in Old Plympton, Lakeham Region, Plymouth Colony around 1764.^[1] On 27 October 1790, he married Salome Cushing, parents UNKNOWN, in Carver, Massachusetts.^[2] Experience and Salome had, at least, 13 children. Experience passed away in Middleboro, Massachusetts on 13 July 1849.^{[3] [4][5]}

Research Notes

• Some say he was a Lieutenant in the Revolutionary War. I have found so such evidence. He is not listed in “Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors” and as far as I can tell never collected a pension.
• May have served in War of 1812, requires research.
