Birth

Though undocumented, legend holds Anna Maria Bentz was born sometime around March 1, 1704 in the Duchy of Württemberg, the daughter of Hans Martin Bentz and Anna Salzmann. Generally, her location is assigned to Biberach Neckar. At this time, no specific village is so named. Much of the territory of the Duchy of Württemberg lies in the valley of the Neckar river, from Tübingen to Heilbronn.[1]When inquiring at Familysearch for places so named, Biberach presents sixteen different choices. The specific church where the event was recorded remains undocumented.

Marriage

The legendary date for her marriage to Hans David Billman is November 23, 1734. Designated by legend in the same place as her birth, both location and date remain undocumented beyond the Duchy of Württemberg.

Immigration

She arrived with her husband, Hans David Billman, September 16, 1736.[2][3]

Death

Along with two of her children, Anna was killed by Indians around March 6, 1756 in Lynn Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.[4]
