Adaline H. Bickford was born on July 4, 1847, in Milan, New Hampshire, the daughter of Nathan Bickford and Hannah Belknap Twitchell.[1] The 1929 Twitchell genealogy incorrectly has her middle initial as S., and states she was a twin of Luella S. Bickford, born January 23, 1851.[2] The 1850[3] and 1860[4] U. S. census both give her birthyear as about 1848, and both have her middle initial as H., agreeing with Rev. Abner Morse.[1]
On September 13, 1872, in Milan, New Hampshire, she married John R. Baldwin.[5] They had one daughter:[6]
Florence, b. 5 Nov 1874
She is called "Mrs. Addie Baldwin" in the will of her mother, dated June 6, 1893.[7]
She died on January 20, 1931, in Los Angeles County, California.[8] She was buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, in Milan, New Hampshire[9] on May 17, 1931.[10]
