Biography
Alfred was born in 1903. He was the son of William Biddle and Eliza Allport. [1] His father died when he was about 5 years old; he went by the surname Pollett after his mother remarried.
From 1913-1915 he attended Ravensbourne School, Dunedin; parent: Frank Eaton Pollett. [2]
In 1925 he married Katherine Maude Schmack.[3] They divorced around 1952-1965. [4]
Alfred passed away 10 Nov 1969 age 66 and is buried at Waikumete Cemetery, Protestant Lawn D, row 1 plot 22. [5] [6] [7] [8]
