Biography

Mary 7 BIGELOW, dau of Jesse 6 ( Solomon 5 , Benjamin 4 , Jonathan 3 , Joshua 2, John 1), and Thankful (FULFORD) BIGELOW, was born in Lyn township, Leeds, Ontario, where her father had settled after fleeing New England as a loyalist. We know she was born about 1795 and about 1816 she married Gardner Lee, a widower. He was the son of an Ephraim Lee and born in MA about 1779/80. His first wife, Nancy Lee had died in 1815. From this sketchy data, we also learn that she died sometime after 1861 as she was then living and he had died in 1845 at Lyn.
