Kenneth was born in 1918. He was the son of Charles Bigelow and Carrie Corkum. He passed away in 1988.
Ken was a coal miner and draggerman in the Springhill Mine. He was part of the team of men who rescued the miners trapped in the 1958 Bump. A former scout, he received the Scouts Medal of Gallantry for his rescue efforts.
