Biography
The son of Heinrich Billig Jr and Catharina (Hoffman) Billig, David Billig was born in Greenwich Township, Pennsylvania[citation needed] in 1802. He married Eva (Rausch) Billig having eight known children together and making their home in Lynn Township, Pennsylvania, in Lehigh County.[1][2][3]
Widowed in 1852, David remarried, marrying "Abigail Becker" (1803-), the presumed daughter of August Wagner and Henrietta Beckendorff, marrying in Allentown, Pennsylvania on March 4, 1852[4] and taking up residence together in Lynn Township.[5]
David Billig passed away in Lynn Township, Pennsylvania[citation needed] at the age of 66; his will was probated on February 1,1869.[6] He is buried at Jerusalem Union Church Cemetery in Stony Run, Pennsylvania.[7]
