Biography

He left Germany in 1850^[1]He arrived in Port Adelaide on 14th October 1850 on the barque, San Francisco. His occupation at this time was shown as "Mason" and his previous residence as Graetitz^[2].

On October 19, 1860, he married Johanna Juliane (Schupelius) Binder (abt.1833-abt.1897) in Angaston, South Australia^[3].

He then married Anna Louise Semmler on 17 November 1892 at Adelaide Plains^[4].

He passed away on 31 March 1901 at Australia Plains^[5] and was buried at the Australia Plains cemetery.^[6]
