April 20, 1753, Andrew Rothenhofer and Maria Margaretha, his wife, were godparents at the baptism of Maria Elizabeth, born April 13, 1752, daughter of Tomme Rin Malatter and Christina Steiblin.

MORSE, JOHN. Phila. Co. Schoolmaster. Other researchers are assuming that since Margaret Redheffer was in John Morse's will she is his daughter, this is incorrect. She was born in Germany and came with her two first born children and husband to America in 1738.How many children would he have named Margaret?, if this were true. John Morse was a Schoolmaster and had many students and parents he had grown fond of.
