Biography
George Bingley and Margaret Oxley both single and of this Parish had Banns read on 3 occasions prior to their marriage on 21 June 1784 in Blyth, St. Mary and St. Martin, Nottinghamshire, England.[1]
George and Margaret's son William Bingley was baptised on 2 June 1791 in Blyth, St. Mary and St. Martin, Nottinghamshire, England.[2]
George died aged 77 and was buried on 6 March 1831 in Blyth, St. Mary and St. Martin, Nottinghamshire, England.[3][4] The headstone reads:In memory of Margaret the wife of George Bingley who died September 15th 1799 age 35 yearsAlso three children who died in their infancy Also of Elizabeth daughter of the above who died May the 16th 1816 age 23 years 'Also of Joseph son of the above who died June 5th 1824 age at 39 years Also of the above said George Bingley who died March the first 1831 aged 77 years
