Job was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 24th July 1785.[1] He was the illegitimate son of Elizabeth. No details were recorded of his father, and a note was made against his mother's name that said "pauper".
Marriage
Job Bishop and Elizabeth Green were married after banns at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 11th November 1810.[2] They were both of the parish. Neither could write so they both made their mark on the register with a cross. The witnesses to the marriage were James Green and Thomas Green.
