Harry Bishop was born in Hampshire, England.

Harry Freake Bishop was born in Hampshire, England in 17 Sep 1857 to Caleb Bishop and Elizabeth Freake.^[1] His birth was registered at Portsea Island in the fourth quarter.^[2]

Their family resided in St. Pauls, Portsmouth, Portsea Island.^[3] They emigrated to British Columbia (later Canada) about 1870, residing in Victoria.^[4]

Harry married Amelia Jane Clyde in New Westminster, British Columbia on 14 Apr 1879.^[5]

They lived in Victoria.^[6][7][4]

He passed away at the Royal Jubilee Hospital^[8] in Victoria on 28 Sep 1944.^[1] Harry was survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons.^[8]

Interment took place at the Ross Bay Cemetery in Victoria.^[8][9]
