I will send what information I have on Asa Bishop. But please be patient. I have been sick and do not have a lot of engery and I get tired easily. So I will probably only be able to sent a little at a time. I have only recently found out who Asa Bishop's parents were. I found out the information at http:www.rootsweb.com/~nyjeffer/bishopp.htm

Asa Bishop b. 7 Nov. 1785 in Chesterfield, NH. married on Jan 10, 1807 in Henderson, NY. This is the information I found on the above site. Asa died June 10, 1872 in Bainbridge Twp. Berrien Co. Michigan. (verified) I have not had a chance to verify the information. Asa married Polly Sprague daughter of Lt. Col Anthony & Esther (Jones) Sprague. Polly was born 23 Aug., 1792. Polly died December 29, 1851 in Bainbridge twsp. Berrien Co. Michigan. (This was listed on the cemetery records.
