Obituary
George S. Bivins, Sr. A memorial service was held September 19, 1994 at the Okolona Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for George Bivins, Sr., age 90. He was born in Greenville, Mississippi in November 1903 and died September 16 1994, in Parson, Tennessee. Mr. Bivins had been a resident of Okolona until 1989.
Survivors include one sister, Margaret Jones of Dallas, Texas;one son, George Bivins, Jr., of Palm Desert, Califorina;two daughters, Zorina Quattlebaum of Okolona and Pat Johnson of Lexington,Tenn.;seven grandchildren and ten great-grand children.
His parents are Silas Arlington Bivins and Laconia Stephens Bivins.
