Sarah was born in 1883. She was the daughter of William Black and Martha Cook. She passed away in 1971.
Mrs. Alice Quinn, age 88, 421 Chester Street died at a local hospital ysterday at 8:10 p.m. after an extended illness. She was survived by sons, Gordon and Billie Quinn of Gadsden; daughters, Mrs. J.B. Harris; Mrs. F.C. Chastain; Mrs. C.E. Korner, Jr. and Mrs. C.D. McElwee all of Gadsden; sister, Mr. H.C. Collier, Gadsden; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Services tomorrow 3:30 p.m. Collier-Butler Chapel. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Mrs. Quinn was a native of Georgia and a resident of Gadsden and Etowah County, Alabama most of her life. She was the wife of the late Henry Edgar Quinn.
