Biography

On the 1920 Gouverneur census, Saint Lawrence, New York, Rufus was 84 and living by himself. He had indicated that he emigrated to the U.S. in 1857 from French Canada.

Rufus was listed as the grantee of property in Fowler, 19 Feb 1904 and 3 Feb 1909, and the center of Grove St. in Gouverneur 18 May 1916.

Rufus Raphael was born in 1839. He is the son of Pierre Blackburn and Christine Brassard. He passed away in 1922. ^[1]
