- Edith was born on March 4, 1922 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Homer D. and Elsie McNaulty Blackwelder. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Allen Hudson. She was retired from Fieldcrest Cannon. Edith loved having her friends and family visit, and she enjoyed crocheting.
- Survivors include her half- sister, Kay Beamon of Concord and numerous nieces and nephews.
- Memorials may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
