Oshkosh Daily Northwestern (Oshkosh, Wis.) 23 October 1916

In county court this forenoon, Mrs. Theresa Beeg was granted a divorce from Benjamin Beeg on the general ground of cruel and inhumn treatment. No contest was made by the defendant. As a final division of the property, in accordance with a stipulation, Mrs. Beeg is to have the farm and personal property, she assuming the mortgage of $2,000 on the farm and paying the defendant $2,400 in cash. The entire property is valued at approximately $9,000 and was held jointly by Mr. and Mr. Beeg. The couple were married in Oshkosh, February 22, 1892, and have two adult daughters.

Following a heart attack, Mrs. Theresa Beeg, 61, died this morning at 7:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leona Miller, 845 Seventh street. Mrs. Beeg was born in Bavaria March 8, 1871, came to the United States at the age of 11, and had lived in Oshkosh for 50 years.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard Beeg; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Miller, and six grandchildren, all of Oshkosh; besides one sister, Mrs. Herman Brandt, town of Omro, and two brothers, Michael and John Blau, both of Oshkosh.

Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Beeg, 845 Seventh street, will be held Saturday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home and at 9 o'clock at St. Vincent's Catholic church, Rev. Aloys Bastian officiating. Burial will be at Riverside cemetery. Members of St. Aloysius court, No. 1023, of the Women's Catholic Order of Foresters, will meet in a body for prayer services at the home Thursday evening at 7:30. Pallbearers were Joseph and Edward Blau, Earl and [?] Brandt, Joseph and Norbert Miller.
