He was the son of Henry Stephen Blick and Jane Blick nee Drew. He was living with his parents and siblings at Maypole Row, Stroud, Gloucestershire in 1891. [2]
He married Amelia Smart in the Old Chapel, Chapel Street Stroud on 25th March 1911. At the time of his marriage he was a Carter, living in Chapel Street Stroud and witnesses were William J Pettiitt (brother in law) and Alice E Marfell. Certificate no 21. [3]
He was living with his wife at Stroud, Gloucestershire and working as a carter in 1911. [4]
He signed up to Gloucestershire Regiment and joined 13th (Forest of Dean) Battalion in 1915.[5]
He signed up to Hampshire Regiment and joined 1st, 19th Garrison Battalion in 1919. [6]
In 1939 they were living at 12 Bath Road Terrace Stroud.
