Research Notes
Residence In the wedding announcement of James' father James Blomfield, Esq; of Barton Hall was noted.[6]
Moved from bio: Married in 1823; 18 years before the census it appears that the below William is the first child born to James and Ann. It is not conceivable that a child born prior to this ie 16 or 17 would be living elsewhere other than with parents in this era. Or, that any children were born out of wedlock prior to marriage. Also, the 1841 Census was (5 years before his death. Therefore only allowing the potential for 5 more children to be born at the most. Making a total potential 11 children in this marriage.
in Wilby? James's son James Blomfield was christened on 11 September 1825 in Wilby, Suffolk, England.[7]
in Downham, Norfolk
James's child Ann Bloomfield was Christening on 10 July 1828 in Downham, [8] Norfolk.[9]
