This John Blood is known only from the record of his marriage to Anna Barke, widow of John Barke, at the parish church of All Saints in Dalbury on 26 Nov 1599, which the clerk noted was a Monday.[1][2] An examination of the original entry in the parish register[3] reveals that John was a tailor.
Research Notes
Which John Blood of Dalbury: While by no means certain, this John Blood of Dalbury could be an already-known John Blood of Dalbury, of which the potential choices are:
John Blood son of William Blood and grandson of Oliver Blood.
He's probably too young to be the John son of Thomas, who was an adult in 1544, or John son of Oliver, who was an adult in 1562, meaning the other two Johns are better candidates.
