Lewis was born 15 Jul 1828 Pennsylvania, the son of James Bloom and Mary Ann Passmore. He was a farmer. He married Belinda Erhard on 24 Apr 1851. They raised their family in Clearfield County. He passed away on 31 Jan 1903.
Note: His findagrave has been removed for some reason, though Belinda does have a memorial. I have seen photos of his tombstone on Ancestry that states the dates. Pennsylvania did not keep track of deaths till 1906, so no death cert. Many instances of his children's deaths.
