Emma's maiden name was Bloomfield, the daughter of Joseph and Sarah (nee Walton) Bloomfield. The family arrived in Lyttelton, New Zealand aboard the 'Waimate' on 25th January 1875 and settled in Orari, Canterbury. She married George Loach on 9th October 1883.
Since there don't seem to be any other references to "Amah Loach" or "Amah Bloomfield", and since Amah wasn't a typical name from the time (maybe it's used in Nigeria), we can take it as a misspelling or scan error for "Emma".
