Edward Aston Charles Marie Blount, son of Henry Edmund Edward Blount, banker, and Marguerite Marie Hyacinthe Moreau de la Rochette, was born in Paris on 2 January 1874^[1].

He married Marianne Ghislaine Claire "Clara" Maret de Bassano on 26 February 1897 in the 16th arrondissement of Paris^[1].

His death was recorded in the first trimester of 1953 in Uckfield, Sussex^[2]
