Biography

Ephraim Boardman was a Revolutionary War Private in the Connecticut Line, 2nd Regiment. He possibly was recruited by his brother-in-law, Joab Hoissington who had also been his guardian after his parents died when he was 14.

Ephraim was buried in Rose Cemetery, Maryland, Otsego County, NY. His grave is noted by a headstone and footstone that say "E.B." His wife, Rhoda outlived him and is buried with their daughter's family in the Schenevus graveyard.
