He was the son of Thomas Bobo and Mary Levy.

At the time of his Birth, his father, Thomas Bobo Jr, was 19 and his mother, Mary Ann Levy, was 19.

Jonathan Married Catherine Kearns before 1826, in Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 4 daughters.

He lived in Plain Township, Franklin, Ohio, United States for about 10 years and Ohio, United States in 1870.

Jonathan Bobo Passed Away on 27 January 1879, in Franklin, Ohio, at the age of 75, and was buried in New Albany, Franklin, Ohio, United States.
