Leonard Charles Bocock was born on May 17, 1887,[1] in Stella, Richardson County, Nebraska. He was the son of John Bocock and Frances Knapp. He was the 3rd child of 7 children. In 1900, at age 13, he was in his parent's home in Cedar, Logan County, Oklahoma, where he was attending school as well as some of his siblings.[2]
He married Ida Belle Cline (1890-1970) on January 17, 1909 in Dill, Washita County, Oklahoma.[3] They had 2 children.

At age 22, he was farming in Elk, Washita County, Oklahoma, with his Brother, Abbie. His wife Ida- 20 and baby (Marvin G) were also in the home along with his brother Emery-19.[4]
He and Ida Bell divorced.
He married Bessie L Crane (1894-1956) ca May 1913, in Carmen, Alfalfa County, Oklahoma. They had 3 children.
He Registered for the World War I Draft in June 1917, giving a discription of age 29, living in Carmen, Oklahoma, born May 17, 1887, in Stella, Nebraska, working as a laborer, in Carmen City, married with 3 children, and a physical discription of Tall, Slinder, with Brown eyes and hair.[8]
In 1920, he was working as a laborer on hs Brother-in-law, Claud Haggard and sister josie's farm in Clark, Dewey County, Olkahoma, his wife and sons, Jim and Fred were in the home also along with Josie's children.[9]
They were renting a Farm in Cleo, Major County, Oklahoma in 1930. His Father, James-74 was living with the family at the time.[10]
By 1940, they were living in Creek, Wagoner County, Oklahoma. Their daughter Ruth-16, was the only child left in the home.[11]
He died on October 14, 1958, at the age of 71, in Oklahoma and was buried in the Elmwood Cemetery, in Wagoner, Wagoner County, Oklahoma.[1]
