Louis Wilber Boer was born 19 Oct 1918 in Sioux, Iowa. He was the son of Adolph Boer and Margaret Vander Wilt.
16 Oct 1940 Louis Wilber Boer (age 21) registered for the WWII draft in Orange, Iowa. He was born 19 Oct 1918 in Sioux, Iowa. He was 5’ 10” tall, weighed 145 lbs, with blue eyes, brown hair, and a light complexion. He had a speech defect. Employer: Mr . Adolph Boer; Farmer. Contact: Mrs Maggie Boer mother. [1]
1940 U.S. Census Adolph Boer (age 49) and his wife Maggie (age 46) are living in Rock Township, Sioux, Iowa with their children Louis Wilber (age 21), Susan Margaret (age 18), Kathleen Antonia (age 17), Wilber Alfred Dale (age 13). It is the same house as in 1935. Highest grade completed: Adolph-illegible; Maggie, Louis, Susan, Kathleen- 8th grade. Wilber-7th grade, Louis-4th grade. Adolph was born in Holland. All the others were born in Iowa. Adolph is a farmer. Louis, Susan, and Kathleen are farm helpers. Wilber is in school. [2]
He passed away 14 July 2004 in Cypress, Orange, California And is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress.[3]
