Benjamin Bohanon was born in Texas, 1879, son of Thomas J Bohanon and Mary Bohanon. He was born into slavery , but owner is unknown. Benjamin was married to Louise Merritt about 1806. They had four children. He was a farmer most of his life in which he owed.
