Biography
Carolina Bohus, daughter of Julianna Czjanik and Joannes Bohus, was born on June 30, 1882 in Tiszolcz, today Tisovec, Slovakia.[1][2][3] Her father was a miner and they lived in the Officina neighbourhood of Tiszolcz in house #109.[1][2] Carolina was baptized on July 2, 1882 by the Roman Catholic Church in Tiszolcz.[1][2] Aloysius Kvacskay, a miner, and Theresia Roszjar were appointed as her godparents.[1][2]
Carolina immigrated to the United States. She married Julius Komora and they settled down in Cleveland, Ohio.[3][4] They had several children:
Carolina died on August 9, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio and was buried in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.[3][5]
Research Notes
Baptism: The baptism record book has the pages shuffled, so that the right page doesn't match up with the left and therefore suggests incorrect parents. The left page for Carolina's record has 111 written near the top left and the right page has 112 written near the top right.
