Notes from the 1930 Census: Edith was married in 1917 at the age of 17. She had 4 children before 1930. James (1918), Anna (1920), Albert (1924), and Douglass (1929). She was employed as a servant at a club house while her husband Frank was a farmer on their farm.

Marriage record indicates Frank and Edith were married October 25, 1916. Marriage information has been updated to the information contained in the marriage record, as this is likely more accurate than the census data. They were wed in Pontiac Michigan by Minister E. P. Bennett. Mrs. E. P. Bennett and Dorie I. Bennett were the witnesses to the marriage. Edith's father is listed as Dock Boice, her mother unknown.
