George Boles left Greenville, Tennessee and moved to Rockwood, Tennessee and Northern Rhea County, Tennessee . His family worked the mines in Roane County . He had originally worked in the Greenville Tennessee, Bright Hope mines. (Source: Sharon Kay Boles Walters, descendant).
