Obituary Excerpt

Mrs. L. B. Cornelius, 84, who died at her East Lake residence yesterday, was buried today in the East Lake Cemetery. A native of Cropwell, Mrs. Cornelius is the widow of the late L. B. Cornelius, a Jefferson County school teacher for many years prior to his death. She is survived by four daughters. Mrs. Lolande Hasson. Mrs C. M. Moor, Mrs. Vida Ashley, and Mrs. J. W. Turner, all of Birmingham; one brother, Walter Boley, of Velasco, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Jimmie Mode, of Corpus Christi, Tex.; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.^[5]
