Chichester Francis Bolton was born on 7 July 1804. He was the third son of John Mayne Bolton and Mary Ann Jones.
He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. Studied Law, entering Kings Inn, Dublin Michaelmas Term 1823, Admitted Grays Inn, London, Trinity Term 1828. Admitted as a Barrister at King’s Inn, Hilary Term 1831[1].
He married Harriet Augusta Stewart (the daughter of Reverend Henry Stewart D.D. and niece of the Right Hon. Sir John Stewart, Baronet, M.P.) in 1826, by Licence. They had about six children.
On 6 June 1851 he was resident at Dublin, Ireland.
Chichester Francis Bolton died on 20 January 1865 and was buried at Brompton Cemetery, West Brompton, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Greater London, England[2]. PLOT: C, 251.6, 4.3
Notice of his death was printed on page 8 of the Morning Advertiser dated 26 January 1865:
His Will was proved on 9 February 1865 at the Principal Registry by the oath of his son Theophilus Bolton, a Captain in her Majesty's 22nd Regiment of Infantry one of the Executors[4]. Effects under £2,000
