Moses Bonaparte is a part of US Black heritage.

Moses Bonaparte was a South Carolinian.

Moses Bonaparte was the son of Sandy Bonaparte,^[1] born in Anderson County, South Carolina.^[2] He was on his own working as a laborer by age 15 when he was listed on the 1870 census.^[3]

By 1880 Moses married Indiana McCard,^[4] McCord,^[5][6] McCode,^[7] or McCoade^[8]

In 1900 the Moses' family was back in Anderson County, South Carolina.^[10] The family returned to Pickens County by 1910.^[11]

By 1920 Moses was listed as age 70 on the census.^[15]

Moses died in 1928, Pickens County, South Carolina.^[2]
