SOUTH ROCKWOOD, May 13, 1930

Funeral Services for Mrs. Joseph Van Wassehnova, aged 80 years, who died at her home in South Rockwood at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, South Rockwood, at 10 o'clock this morning with the Rev. T. H. Rose officiating. Burial was made in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mrs. Van Wassehnova was born at South Rockwood February 5, 1850. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and of the Married Ladies Sodality of the church.
Mr. Van Wassehnova preceded his wife in death. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. David Bondy of South Rockwood; seven children, Mrs. Daniel Laginess, Mrs. Henry Gonyea, Mrs. Charles Lemerand, Mrs. Lewis Gonyea, Charles Van Wassehnova Lawrence Van Wassehnova and Daniel Van Wassehnova, all of South Rockwood except Daniel and Mrs. Lemerand who live at Ida. Thirty-one grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren survive.
