Catherine Bonser was born in Berkeley County, Virginia (now West Virginia) about 1798, daughter of John Bantzer and Elisabeth Bentzel. She never married and was living with her brother, Jacob in Chillicothe, Ohio in 1850 and was with her brother, William, in Piatt County, Illinois in 1860 and 1870. A death date has not been found, but she probably died before 1880.
