Biography

Napoleon Boone was the last of 12 children born to Sarah Griffin Lewis Sarah Griffin Lewis and Daniel Morgan Boone . *(this requires a citation, as the only info came from FindaGrave: 06.11.2015, SJ) He was born in 1828, close to Lawrence, Kansas, where his father was an agricultural agent for the Kanza Indian Agency. He may have been the first Caucasian child born in the territory as there were only a few settlers in the area at the time. He passed away in 1850.This same FindaGrave memorial #9008735 indicates that he died in California, but he was buried in Dardenne Cemetery, St. Charles County, Missouri, which seems doubtful.
