Biography

Sara (Bornstein) Grossman was murdered during the liquidation of the Bochnia ghetto.

On May 1, 1886, Sara Tauba Tobcia BORNSTEIN, daughter of Lazar (Lajzer, Leizer) Dawid (David) BORNSTEIN and Chawe (Chawa) Malka ANISFELD was born in Kraków, Kraków District, Galicia Province, Austria-Hungary.[1][2][3]

BIRTH RECORD

On October 13, 1908, Sara and Shmul Chaim GROSSMAN were married in Kraków.[3]

MARRIAGE RECORD

Prior to WWII, Sara and Shmul Chaim GROSSMAN were residing at Długa 17, Kraków, Republic of Poland, Google Maps.[3]

During the war, they was living in Bochnia, Bochnia District, Krakow Province, German-occupied Poland.[3]

In October 1942, Sara, age about 57 years, was murdered during the liquidation of the Bochnia ghetto.[3]

On May 15, 1989, her niece, Felicia DEUTSCHER FRIEDMAN submitted a Page of Testimony to Yad Vashem - The World Holocaust Remembrance Center for Sara.[3]
