1937 The death has occurred of one of the South-East's earliest residents, Mr. Thomas Bott, 80, of Kalangadoo. He was born at Nairne, and was married to Miss Julia Brooks, of Millicent, in 1880. His wife was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Brooks, of Nangula, near Millicent. He was a member of the Kalangadoo branch of the agricultural bureau. He was a successful farmer. He left a widow, four sons, and two daughters.
Mr Thomas Bott was interred at the Millicent Cemetery Millicent, South Australia, Section A Section, Plot 79.
