He seems to have been enumerated as one of the adult males living with his father in the 1811 census of River Bourgeois, Nova Scotia. In the 1813 military muster, he was recorded as Lewis Bouche Junr, age 23, born in Cape Breton. A fisherman, living with no women, boys, or girls.[1]
He had a number of children with Helene Pitre, and lived in River Bourgeois, Nova Scotia.[2]
